The hospital employs and directly impacts the lives of 266 hardworking people,
Their remunerations are paramount and the Hospital struggles a lot to keep a consistent flow of their well-deserved payments.
Your donations can help keep staff facilitated as they continue to do great work for humanity.
With the wide range of services provided, the hospital spends a pretty sum of money on medical supplies to facilitate and offer the services at subsidised costs.
Consumables and non-consumables are highly needed. Purchase and maintenance of medical equipment greatly needs financial support. You can as well donate in-kind a durable medical equipment.
The Primary Health Care Department holds community outreaches to render services to people unable to reach the Hospital.
The Palliative Care Program reaches the destitute patients who are terminally ill in the communities of Karamoja: providing them with medical supplies, mostly morphine refills.
The Maternal Child Health program prioritizes health of women during pregnancy, childbirth and the postnatal period. The team moves in communities spreading awareness and bringing the unaware mothers with pregnancy complications.
A greater percentage of the population can not afford the costs involved in ambulance services, in many instances, the patients are brought late to the hospital by bicycle or carriage on foot.
The hospital would want to offer free ambulance services to the patients if it weren’t for the cost implications arising from fuel, servicing and drivers’ facilitation.
