Patient testimonials

It’s always the word of mouth that makes our reputation precede us. Here are some of the words said about us.

I came to this hospital with gunshots, bullets had riddled my left limb and in my thoughts, the best I could get was to have that limb removed. I never expected to be back on my two feet again. I am so grateful for the healing I got from Matany much as the costs could have been way beyond my pockets.

Lotwal Joseph

The PHC team discovered me from deep within the village of Katakwi, I had no idea about my medical condition but I trusted what they were saying. I was rushed to the hospital and just about an hour after arrival, I was operated on. If by any bad luck, they had not stumbled upon me during their village outreaches, I am certain I would be dead by now.

Amuron Justine

I got an accident during my journey back from Matany Hospital. I had taken a client to the hospital and on my way back, at night, I lost control and the next thing, I woke up in the hospital bed – Matany hospital. I was unconscious while being rescued by the Ambulance. After some consideration, I was referred to Mulago NR but couldn’t afford to go. I kept praying to God that I was doing his service and he ought to do me this favour. By God’s grace, Matany hospital managed my condition within 3 months of admission. I am back to riding and making a living for my family.

I was brought from Achere Parish in 2008 when I was 11 years, got diagnosed with a condition I got to know to be called Peritonitis. The team conducted a series of operations -about 4, they thought I was well until they discovered I wasn’t. Further operations were done in the theatre. I gained some weight and for the next 2 years, I was in and out of the hospital. I never had another problem of that sort and as I live up to this day. I am so blessed to be alive.
